There are many open questions surrounding CSRD reporting. Here we answer the most common ones and show how CONSUST supports you in their implementation.

How auditable is the solution?

The solution has already proven itself in practice during many external audits. The basis for this is that every work step in the software is designed to be audit-proof and traceable. For example, every change to the data is recorded in an audit trail. There is also always the option to store explanations and evidence, which can be viewed by auditors via a specific role.

How quickly can it be implemented?

Our software is ready for use within a few weeks. This is possible due to our SaaS architecture and, in particular, our strong ESG focus. All CSRD-specific content is already stored in the software and enriched with as much expert knowledge as possible. This sets us apart from other (financial) providers who offer a general data management solution and have to tailor it to CSRD during implementation.

How does the module integrate into existing systems?

The CSRD module meaningfully complements existing systems and can be used as a single point of truth for your ESG management. To ensure continuous data flow, our software has a flexible architecture. For example, data can be uploaded via mass upload or integrated directly via an interface.

Can I also write reports in the software?

Yes, the software covers the entire reporting process from DMA to the exportable report. For report creation, there is an extensive Disclosure Management module that allows the previously collected data to be transferred into a report. The module features CSRD-specific templates and automatically transfers data into the required tables, for example. With the intelligent use of AI, texts can also be generated at the push of a button. Integrated tags ensure you always maintain an overview. The final report can then be exported as a Word file.

Are regulatory adjustments reflected in the software?

Yes, we centrally provide the current regulatory requirements. As soon as these change, we immediately reflect them in the software and make them available to our customers. For example, when the ESRS were revised in December 2025, we were one of the first providers to fully integrate the new standards into the software. Additionally, we continuously enrich the standards with expert knowledge and best practices to make reporting as simple as possible for our customers.

Can I involve stakeholders in the materiality analysis?

Yes, the software follows a flexible approach within the materiality analysis that also includes stakeholder management. For example, it is possible to directly enter consolidated stakeholder evaluations. Alternatively, questionnaires can also be sent to stakeholders.
